For the next 3 days, I will be attending the Annual Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) Heads and Chairs Conference at Niagra Falls, Ontario. This conference is the one time each year where all 90+ CAIS school Heads of School and Board Chairs come together to connect, reflect and consider important factors that are impacting the independent school landscape.
As we learn from each other and the experts who are joining us, I’ll aim to share a few reflections that may have some insight for our Rundle College community.
To start our day, we’ve heard from Ed Kidd, Head of Ridley College who reminds us that humans are hard wired for connection and that’s what the theme of this conference, “School Culture and Climate: Bringing Community and Well-Being Into Focus,” is so important!
