This week has been an exciting time of sharing our professional knowledge with our communities. In particular, it was wonderful to see Ms. Spence join a U of C Alumni event and talk about 'Technology's Impact on Our Brains.' Her talk was compelling, practical and applicable. Two of the big questions she asked us to ask ourselves were:
"What is the technology doing for you?"
"Why do you need technology to do this for you?"
I think these are important questions to ask ourselves as we evaluate our own use and dependance on technology.
Another shining example of sharing is our music teacher, Mrs. O'Brien. This past week she was asked to write a blog for a prominent online ukulele community. It is clear that she is becoming a thought leader in the area of music for teachers everywhere! I encourage all members of our community to give her post a read.
