Last week, I hosted an Ascent Leadership module about 'Leading through a crisis.' As a part of the homework, I asked the group to think of local initiatives they could spearhead to support front line workers in service industries and health care. From this came dozens of creative ideas, and many of them we are looking to action right now.
One of the best initiatives came from one of the students who was already working to support our province. This student let me know that, on her own initiative, she had started a YouTube Channel for Grade 7 students in Alberta who need access to instruction and curriculum. To top it off, she had started to record lessons and provide them for free to anyone who can access them!
