Over the past number of weeks, it has been incredible to see the emergence of connection in education in an attempt to learn about what is best practice in our field. In particular, it has been inspirational to be a part of zoom sessions put on by AISCA, CAIS, Global Online Academy and groups such as Future Design School.
This past week, I had the opportunity to sit in with Patti Macdonald, CAIS Executive Director and Sandra Nagy, Future Design School's, Director of Learning. It was amazing to hear Sandra speak about the importance of relationships while working from a distance, the importance of creating opportunities to have 'creative collisions' even when you are not together and the importance of having strong motivated teams who care about an organization's mission, vision and values.
This is just one small example of the hundreds of professional learnings that are going on in our environment!
