Be Curious: The Gift of Failure

During this season of Holiday Wishes, I received this card in the mail (see above).

The back of the card had a nice handwritten note from the author Jessica Lahey.

As we move into the coming year, let's remember how important it is to allow our kids to experience 'non-catastrophic failure' and how essential it is for them to become 'anti-fragile.'

I am grateful for a community that believes in these principles, and, for big thinkers like Jessica who continue to encourage us to think hard about failure.

  1. FEAR...the biggest obstacle in life. Living without fear doesn't mean we are perfect or that we won't mistakes. Its an understanding that we are all human; making mistakes and failing is just as instructive and success if you ask me. Great read Jason. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year buddy :)
