Recently, I finished reading Simon Sinek’s newest book, “The Infinite Game.” Sinek's newest book looks at leadership through a visionary lens. He challenges CEO’s to think like CVO (Chief Vision Officers) and look well into the future and not simply at the current market and outcomes.
Around the same time I finished reading Sinek, I stumbled upon this Inc. article about Bezos and Obama. In essence, the author is making the same point as Sinek has.
Bringing it home to schools, I often wonder what our greater, very long term, vision could be. How can we take the best practices that we are so aware of at Rundle and apply them to help students across our city, province and country?
