Be Curious: It is Report Card Season - Considering Grades v. Feedback

Recently, an excellent, well researched, article was published detailing some basics on 'Grades vs. Feedback.'  Although this read is probably most applicable to teachers, it is worth consideration for parents.  The author bring important attention to intrinsic motivation, purposes of feedback and improved learning.

If nothing else, I hope that parents appreciate the 'comments' section of the upcoming report cards or continue to ask for detailed feedback on their child's learning when they meet or speak with their teachers!
