We remain curious about the future of primary, secondary and post secondary education. Recently, I enjoyed reading a New York Times article about the proposition of a "60 Year Curriculum." In essence, what top universities are exploring is the opportunity for micro-credentialing to allow people to continue to be agile, learn and improve for a lifetime. On a side note, this disruptor reminded me of an early post where we explored the future of 'Post Secondary Learning' as opposed to the regimented idea of 'Post Secondary Education.'
As the article states, no one is sure of what the future of education will be, but we do know we are in an era of educational disruption and 60 Year Curriculum may be closer the truth that what we currently know.
