Together: The Traverse

As some of you know, at the Academy this year marked the launch of our Traverse program. This program sees our own Ms. Jordan supporting a group of grads in their transitional year to post-secondary. Meeting frequently, videoconferencing and meeting face-to-face on far away campuses allows us to continue to support our population. As there are many differences between high school and post-secondary life, grads have been able to maintain a version of our TA model and receive support in scheduling, calendaring, registering and general post-secondary life, among other skills. We have seen this program's initial success as these recent grads find their way during the first weeks of their post-secondary education. Grade 12s and graduating parents, if you would like more information about the Traverse, please reach out to Ms. Jordan at jordan@rundle.ab.ca.
