Although we may never build a chicken coupe with our kids, and we may never face the scary reality that we may have lost a chicken to a predator... there is a lot that can be learned from this story.
- Learning is best when you are an active participant in the experience.
- Making mistakes is an important part of the learning.
- Sometimes with freedom comes risk - as teachers and parents - finding the balance between too risky and just risky enough is critical.
