"Through the eyes of our students"

Our late founder, Dr. Rod Conklin, wrote an exceptional book, "A Cottage That Became A Campus," to preserve the history of Rundle College Society's first 30 years.

Among the hundreds of insights he provides, there are two which we are looking to draw inspiration from this year. They are:

“Groups of 12 to 15 were more able to have full communication without the threat of too much intimacy.  I called this the “empathy group,””

&

When speaking of the best teachers, “[the top teachers] could see the world through the eyes of the students” (p.13).

Please take a moment and join me in considering what the world looks like through our students' eyes, and, what we can do as primary supports in their lives to allow them to reach their potential.
