Be Curious: Lessons learned from a night of failure

As mentioned in an earlier post, I was lucky to attend a night of speeches celebrating failure!  During the evening, there were presenters from places such as YYC Cycle, Char Bar, FalkBuilt, and the app PlayCity.  

The evening was filled with wisdom, humour and insight.  Here are five takeaways that stick in my mind from the night:

1) Failing together brings you closer.

2) Laughing together makes failing easier.

3) When all else fails, follow your curiosity - ask more questions.

4) Failures don't last forever (even though they seem like they might)

5) When you always do it right - you don't learn anything!

Huge thanks to all who shared their thoughts - I'm sure all 200 people in attendance learned as much as I did.
