Recently, the in "Ed.: Harvard ED Magazine," Lory Hough published an article titled: "What's the Plan? : What if every student had their own education plan?"
I am heartened to hear that the opportunity to personalize education for all kids is being elevated to some of the most influential thinkers in the field. I was also encouraged by the fact that we see this happening across our campuses. Certainly, schools like Rundle Academy intuitively conduct themselves in this manner, however, at Rundle we remain committed to knowing every and seeing every student for who and where they are.
I encourage parents in our community to connect with their homeroom teachers and TA teachers on the topic of 'who is my child is as a learner' and take the conversation beyond the traditional parameters of 'what's for homework' or 'when is the next exam.'
